Just a note to my friends

My beautiful daughter, Kristine!
Us almost 4 years ago!

I've been missing my friends and I want you to know that I've been trying to figure out a way to reconnect with you.  Blogging seems like a fun way to share.     I was so touched by the video's I've included on this sight ... especially the "Beach Bubble" Please turn up the volumn, relax and ENJOY!

Adam and I adopted the sweetest dog.  His name is Quigley.  He is such a delight! We also have two cats, T.C. and Latte.     So much has happened in the past few years.  As many of you know, I married a wonderful man, Adam Sausser (who happened to be one of my art students) and we will be celebrating our third anniversary this coming November.  I can't wait to hear from you, so we can catch up!

If you are one of my former students, I would love to hear from you and see how you're progressing in the art world.

Quigley!
I'm looking so forward to your post.

WHY NOT?

Today walking down town was like walking towards the beach here in Prescott, Arizona. The high desert moved aside for one day to let the beach come to us! A professional size beach volley ball court with tons of sand along with a local band scheduled to play tonight. I had to smile and wonder, if a beach was brought to our dusty little western town, why not foam! I can just imagine billows of fluffy white foam catching the breeze instead of tumbleweeds. We'd love it ... even it if was just for a day! Bring it on!

THE WAY OUT
by David Wilkerson
[May 19, 1931 - April 27, 2011]

Your way was in the sea, Your path in the great waters, and Your footsteps were
not known (Psalm 77:19).

God has promised

To make a way of escape

From temptation—

A way that leads to the sea,

A path into deep waters.

I complained

And my spirit was overwhelmed.

A way of escape?

Into the sea?

Deep and great waters?

I communed with my heart

And made diligent search.

The deep waters surround me;

I swim in a sea of trial.

Has the Lord cast me off?

Does he no longer favor me?

Is his mercy gone forever?

Has God forgotten to be gracious?

In anger has he shut me up

In a sea of confusion?

Then I remembered,

Thou leadest thy people like a flock

By the hand of Moses

Into great waters.

The waters saw thee, O God

And they were afraid.

The depths . . . were troubled;

They obeyed

And the waters parted.

I too will walk by faith

Into great waters,

And if I cannot hear your footsteps behind me,

I will walk on.

I will remember

How he divided the sea

And . . . made the waters to stand as a heap.

I will pass through

With them.
